What size air conditioning unit do I need?
It depends on the size of the room, how many windows it has, which way it faces and how you use it. We'll measure up during your free home survey and recommend the right size for each room.
Can air conditioning heat my home too?
Many modern air conditioning systems can heat as well as cool. They work as an air-to-air heat pump, so you can stay comfortable all year round. We'll let you know which options suit your home.
Is a fixed system better than a portable unit?
For most homes, yes. Fixed wall-mounted systems are quieter, more efficient and much better at cooling than portable units, and there's no hose hanging out of the window.
Do I need planning permission?
In most cases, no. It can depend on where the outdoor unit goes and whether your home is listed or in a conservation area. We'll check this with you during your survey.
